Our Story
How It All Began
Dipa & Dharmesh first met at Spicy Dosa at a networking event. Dharmesh turned up stylishly late – clearly he was busy doing his hair 😆 and lucky for him he got to sit opposite Dipa.
They got to know each other a little and Dipa soon discovered that Dharmesh was an Enfield boy and an Arsenal supporter ☺️ Luckily that didn’t bother her.
Dharmesh found out that although Dipa wasn’t quite an ‘Ilford girl’ she clearly had everything she needed in Ilford!😜
As a group they all went on to a drinks lounge where they had a laugh and Dharmesh got to learn about Dipa’s love of travel. They bought fought to pay the bill but Dharmesh won by showing off and paying with his Apple Watch 😌
The Sparks
After that they lost touch until Dharmesh did a bit of digging for Dipa’s number. They met up several times as part of a group where they flirted and had a laugh.
Finally they went on a date and went bowling, Dharmesh just about beat Dipa 😉 followed by dinner @Wags which is still their all time fave restaurant.
Dharmesh asked Dipa to ✏️ in various dates in her diary including a night out at Bounce.
The Proposal 💍
A year and a half soon flew by with numerous dates and then began the prep for the proposal 🩷 Dipa & Dharmesh flew out to Budapest just after Dipa’s birthday.
They just about made it onto the river cruise, where Dharmesh quickly got to work and set up the most beautiful display of petals and framed photographs whilst Dipa went to get drinks 🥂
Before she knew it, Dharmesh got done on one knee and popped the big question!!
Fortunately Dipa said yes
and agreed to marry her Prince Charming!!
